Washington Monument tours are free, but you will be required to get a ticket in advance. Tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis every day. Obtain your free ticket by visiting the ticket kiosk located at the base of the Washington Monument, which opens at 8:30 a.m.Lines for Washington Monument tour start as early as 7:30 a.m. Each person is limited to six tickets.
